Olivera has been teaching professionally for more than 17 years in classrooms and private studios in Europe and the United States.  She has studied the piano for almost 30 years and has been a student at the university level for six of those years in Eastern Europe. Olivera holds two degrees in Music where her major was in Piano Pedagogy.  Olivera chose to specialize in piano teaching because early on, she enjoyed motivating and educating others on the piano.  She is not simply a pianist who decided to teach, Olivera is a trained pianist who has been well educated in teaching.  She has a great understanding in the methods of  how to pass along the gift of music and the art of playing the piano.  After receiving her Master's degree from the University of Musical Arts in Belgrade, Olivera continued her studies in London and subsequently has been teaching and raising her family here in southern California for the past seven years.   Educating children and adults as well, she has the expertise and experience to teach all,  from the basics to university level.
